About Storm Guard Charlotte
Storm Guard of Charlotte is the locally owned Charlotte location of the Storm Guard roofing and exterior brand, run by two partners, Tim Weber and Nathan Grimm. The company handles roofing, siding, gutters, windows and other exterior work for homes and businesses across the Charlotte area, from an office on Tyvola Road.
Both came to the business ready for a new chapter and, in their words, "wanted the opportunity to build something locally that we could really put our name behind." What drew them to Storm Guard was the chance to take an established brand and make the Charlotte business feel personal, dependable and rooted in the community.
What You Get
| What You Get | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| One team, start to finish | "We show up, communicate clearly, do what we say we will do and stand behind the work." The aim is a homeowner who feels confident in the process and comfortable recommending them to a neighbor. |
| Any hour, any day | Calls are taken any time of the day, any day of the week. |
| Help with the hard part | Home improvement is stressful when insurance, schedules and major repairs are involved. Keeping homeowners informed through all of it is the thing they hear about most. |
| The whole exterior | Roofing, siding, gutters, windows and more, so one call covers the house rather than one problem. |
Meet Tim Weber and Nathan Grimm
Nathan grew up in southwest Florida and Tim in Indiana. Both have been part of the Charlotte area for years, and one of the things they say they value most is working in the same communities where they live, raise their families and spend their time. Nathan and his wife have three children; Tim brings the same family and community mindset to the business.
They are building a local team around them in sales, production and operations. The goal, as Nathan puts it, is "a business that feels local, personal and dependable, because at the end of the day, the people we serve are our neighbors."
In Their Words
Their advice to homeowners: "Don't wait until you have a leak to have your roof looked at. Small issues are often much easier and less expensive to address before they turn into bigger problems. When you do call someone, make sure they are willing to explain what they see, show you photos and give you options."
The win that means the most is hearing from a homeowner after a project that the process was easier than they expected. "When someone tells us, 'You kept us informed, did what you said you would do and made this simple,' that means a lot."
And the thing they most want readers to know: Storm Guard Charlotte is locally owned and focused on long-term relationships here. "We want to be more than the company you call when something goes wrong; we want to be a trusted resource for your home, whether that means roofing, windows, siding, gutters or simply getting an honest opinion when you are not sure what you need."
