Anthony Vasquez

Anthony Vasquez is a Charlotte-based multi-instrumentalist (vocals, guitar, bass, drums), songwriter, and bandleader whose sound blends Latin music, Latin rock, blues, and pop. Born in Matthews, NC, he started performing at local festivals as a child and taught himself guitar during the COVID-19 pandemic before adding bass and drums. He leads his own band and plays across Charlotte at festivals, cultural celebrations, restaurants, and private events. Music is a family effort: his younger brother Alan performs with him and his father Alvaro manages the act. He has taught guitar and worked as an instructor at Guitar Center and at Music & Arts. Career highlight: invited on stage by Juanes at The Fillmore Charlotte (the first fan the artist had ever brought up), later covered by local Charlotte news and Colombian media.
