This month's Coffee with a Cop at Ballantyne Summit Coffee, set for Friday, August 14, was called off that morning; organizers say the monthly gathering picks back up in September.
The meetup brings Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers and Ballantyne neighbors together over a cup of coffee. No agenda and no speeches, just a chance to ask questions, raise concerns, and get to know the officers who serve the area. Stroll joins the gathering each month, and everyone is welcome.
The next meetup is set for Friday, September 11, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Ballantyne Summit Coffee, 13743 Conlan Circle, Suite 101, with another to follow on Friday, October 9.
